What a beautiful day… FOR CONTROVERSY!!!
Just Kidding, but this poem is about how this “world” we call cyberspace is so easily harnessed to elicit all manner of reactions in the populous. Rather than get into that crud, just take this as a grain of wisdom: Consider the source, always ask who can profit from this, and be aware that you end up in feedback loops if you’re only choosing to look at the same sources for information.
We are saddled with technology unheard of in millennia of human history, with the knowledge base of that same human history at our fingertips. Too many folks never take advantage of it. Places like Archive.org are trying their best to categorize all content both physical and digital. Many lost media pieces have made their way there. Additionally artwork and written content as well…
Anyway, soapboxing over… time for amateur poetry!
The Network

Interconnected web of electric lines
Pulling its digital wool, right over your eyes
Sites and sights, yet unseen by thee
Visit the library, access is free
A digital wild west
In an analog world
The history of the best
And the worst, unfurled
Information here
Misinformation there
Which is which, you ask?
Do you truly care?
If Information is what you want
Take it if you will
Lest you have a discerning palate
You'll end up drinking swill
A bright future was promised
But a lot of it is fake
Unless you harness intentionality
You might make a grave mistake.
Seek beneath the surface
Find the true potential rise
Don't get caught without a purpose
Within this web of lies.
