Today is a day for blazing new trails, all the lights are green. It is only a matter of time before a new team leaves the planet. Today Ole Muskman had his Space X Company launch their integrated Starship / Superheavy Booster for the first time. The primary goal was simply to test the launch systems and reach the atmosphere, but unfortunately, the Stage 1 separation was not successful. Overall though it is still a success, the rest was never fully expected to be accomplished on the first test.

The Artemis Fly-By is Next year, and in 2025 this same system will bring Astronauts back to the Moon for the first time since the 1970s.

In honor of today’s Historic Launch, I wrote a poem about our future explorations.

The title comes from the famed poet Virgil, it can be translated in a couple of ways, namely: Thus one goes to the stars” and “Such is the way to immortality”. I’d argue that most astronauts are indeed immortalized, thus both interpretations may be true.
